Work-life balance matters
Particle Forward has been in the market for more than twelve years. Since the beginning, we have believed that happy people are more productive. That's why our priority is to provide the best work-life balance to our team.
Prioritizing our team's happiness is our secret to achieving the best results. Our experience during the last years has shown us what we already knew, that happy people are more motivated and productive. We work 100% remotely; this allowed us to have an international team, resulting in a creative environment full of different perspectives and ideas. Working remotely also means that our team has the freedom to work anywhere they want. Some of our team members plan to travel the world together while working. We work remotely but not alone! Our team is always available to help each other; we have two catch-up meetings daily, sharing our latest developments and organizing our daily tasks.
Let's dive right in.
5 Reasons why work/life balance makes employees more productive:
Happy employees care
Happiness increases productivity because it leads to higher engagement, so happy employees are also more present. When a company gives employees all the resources they need and also excellent benefits, employees will feel that their effort is recognized and are more likely to give their best.
happy employees are loyal
Happy employees are more likely to stay with their company long-term. A lowered turnover means that a company will spend less money and time trying to find new people to fulfill the job positions and train new employees. This results in more productivity because you and your team will focus more on growing together and getting the best results instead of constantly introducing new people to the company.
Happy employees are healthier
Providing an excellent work-life balance to your employees is great for their mental health and increases their immune system. This means that your company is more likely to avoid associating costs with frequent and extended periods away from work that sick employees sometimes have to take. Stress is also a considerable enemy of creativity; stressed people struggle to be productive because they are always worried and doubting themselves.
Happy employees take risks
Happy employees feel safe and appreciated. This makes them more likely to think outside the box. When people feel good, they are more motivated and creative so, naturally, happy employees will find the most innovative solutions for their company. Happy employees are more likely to take calculated risks, while unhappy employees prefer safety.
It's a never-ending circle
Happiness keeps multiplying. If your employees are happy, they will spread the word and create a friendly atmosphere for the other coworkers. They are more likely to help each other, which means that your team will be more productive.
