Helping nonprofit organizations is a great way to give back to the community

We are excited to announce our partnership with União Zoófila, a Portugal-based NPO that helps furry ones find new homes. 

Since 1950, UZ has been matching domestic animals that were abandoned, lost or abused with animal lovers that were looking to welcome new members to their families. This great act is a bond between animal and humans and greatly helps with humanity in modern society. 

Our story with UZ started 11 years ago when our CEO Martinho Santos was a student volunteer in the organization, where he witnessed how a simple act can change lives forever. At Particle Forward, a lot of our team members have shelter pets at home. We understand the value that UZ is bringing and want to help increase the adoption and donation rate, by developing a brand new website for UZ, which will be more accessible, user-friendly, and easy-to-use.  We are proud to work with an organization like União Zoófila and we look forward to more alike partnerships in the future where values are shared, and changes for the better are made.

With the pandemic came the need to bet more on the digital

Because of the technological development, especially during the pandemic, came the need to bet more on digital as a communication tool. This institution depended on people going there to help. União Zoófila was almost without support overnight with the pandemic. 

The website was highly outdated

Our goal is to make it easier to raise funds and adopt or sponsor pets through the website. The tools are outdated. We want to optimize adoption and sponsorship processes. The aim is to create a more appealing webpage where users can find out how to help institutions.
